Yesterday, as you know from the previous post, we went on a day trip. Well, when we travel we love stopping at Goodwills and Big Lots on the way home. We spent tons of money at these two places and got some great deals. Here is the funny part:

Roger had the day off so we went on a day trip to this wonderful park! They had a train, huge playgound equipment, and a splash pad. The kids enjoyed themselves so much. It only cost $1.00 per kid to play in the Splash Pad, dry adults are free…..yet it cost $50.00 in gas to drive [...]

McKay was baptized

On Sunday June 22, McKay was baptized and confirmed a member of our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter~Day Saints. We only had family attend and had breakfast right after the baptism. He said he felt clean. It was a very nice spiritual day. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Our family eats about 3 whole watermelons a week, my kids have now come up with creative ways to use the rinds.

Our kids are little fish. They love to swim. Grant is really learning fast. If I can teach my kids to save money, love church, ride a bike and swim then I will feel like I have accomplished a lot! Here’s some pictures from the pool, we have been going about 3 times a week.

We had some friends over to tie~dye t-shirts. Surprisingly it was a lot of fun, the kids got along great! I think the shirts turned out pretty cool. We love Steve Spangler, he is the Science guy that we learn tons from. He has the mentos and diet coke experiment that we love. One night, Roger decided to use Benson’s mouth in the experiment. It didn’t create a geyser but it did fizz and bubble in Benson’s mouth. Steve Spangler would be proud…..
