Our blog has moved

For certain reasons we have moved over to Blogger.  If you want to follow us there here is the link:

Thanks for stopping by and taking an interest in our family.  Hope to see you on blogspot.

Hunt Dog made this cool bird feeder at Scouts the other night.  He put peanut butter in each hole and smothered bird seed on the peanut butter.  He is so excited and can’t wait to see which birds will come and have a snack.

St. Patty’s Fun

We found these rainbow cupcakes on Family Fun and had the best time making them. We made up cake batter and dyed them 6 rainbow colors then layered them. They turned out really cool and the children were amazed.

A new favorite quote

Our wonderful realtor shared this with me!  Made me laugh.  Thanks Ann!

If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it will always be yours, if it doesn’t, it was never yours to begin with. But if it sits in your living room, messes with your stuff, eats your food, uses your telephone, takes your money, and doesn’t appear to realize that you set it free, you either married it or gave birth to it.

You know you have boys

when you find this:

Cute Valentine

Found these large strawberries at www.theshabbyshoppe.com and we just had to make them!  Here is how they turned out. We stuffed them with Heart candies.

They are super easy and even the boys enjoyed making them!

Happy Heart Day

Hope everyone that reads my blog has a wonderful Valentine’s Day.  Here are some things that we have been up to.

Came home today to this:

Tay, G Money and Hunt Dog cut out hearts and tied them to string and they hang from the ceiling!  These may stay up the rest of the month!  They are so sweet to me!

Then I got some great Valentine’s from some “celebrities”:

Here is what they say:

“I Knead You” Paula Dean

“There’s No Substitute For You Valentine”  Jared (the Subway guy)

“Have a dirty Valentine”  Mike Rowe :)

“We’re gonna make America skinny again one slap at a time” Vince (the slapchop guy)

These Valentine’s were made by Tay and she really made me laugh!  She is just too stinking creative!

They also punched out tons of pink and red hearts and made the counter beautiful!

Hope everyone else has a great Heart day too!

Bead Glasses

We have been in the house since we can’t get out due to the roads so we have been cooking and making crafts. Tay and Hunt Dog had so much fun beading and making cool creations!

Snow Cave

We were hit with almost 12 inches of snow and the kids have had a blast! Roger decided to make a snow cave that G money could fit in! He absolutely loved it! We are also making a huge igloo that hopefully will fit all 7 of us, pictures to come soon!

More Crafts

Finally got this up on the wall.  It was so much fun to make.  Taylor bought the wooden Princess saying at  A C Moore.  She painted it with pink glitter paint and we hung it on the wall over her name.  Her name we made with alphabet letters that Wal~Mart carries.  They are made by Provo Craft.  We painted the sides white and picked out matching scrapbook paper and mod podged it to the front of the letters.  Using an exacto knife we trimmed the paper away and then lightly sanded the edges to give it a finished look.  I love how it turned out and so does Princess Taylor!  Have fun being crafty!
